Highway Engineering Professional

Participate in planning, budgeting, and delivering traffic engineering projects including traffic operational analysis, traffic microsimulation models, roadway design, signal design, ITS design, signing and marking, and/or construction traffic control plans, etc. Prepare design elements and design plans for highway/roadway civil design. Provide quantity calculations and project cost estimating, research standards and specifications and works with city, state, county, and federal manuals research design options and documents findings for project engineers and/or project managers. Coordinate project assignments with other engineers and technicians in discipline group. Work within a team on multiple projects; attend design review meetings and interact with clients; assists with other duties assigned by project engineers and/or project managers.
