Hospital Clinicians (HC) not only have depth of knowledge in their respective fields ( Medicine, Surgery and Emergency & Acute Care) but also knowledge across different domains to manage patients with multiple interacting comorbidities and health/social complexities holistically, together with other members of the healthcare team to anchor broad-based care in the wards.

Core Competency A – Resuscitation and Management of the Critically Ill Patient

You will be responsible for:

• Recognising and identifying, in a timely manner, a patient who is deteriorating clinically and in need of urgent intervention
• Reliably notifying the specialist-in-charge, in a timely manner, and coordinating a team of healthcare staff to assist in the care of the patient.
