Hourly Payroll Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation, and collective agreements.
  • Perform audit procedures to ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Maintain and update payroll system records, including employee information and rate changes.
  • Collaborate with payroll providers and ensure accurate data transfer to other systems.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Support payroll system updates and testing as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Prepare numerous reports, support Total Rewards projects, and collaborate with HR to develop and maintain key metric tracking protocols.
  • Serve as back up for other payroll processing and inquiries as required.
