House Manager

About the role

Location: THE PIG-near Bath, Pensford, BS39 4NS

Salary: £38,500 - £42,500 per annum, (OTE £44,100 - £48,100 per annum)

Hours: 45 hours per week, including weekends

As House Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's front‑of‑house, enhancing guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.

You’ll oversee daily operations and respond promptly to guest needs. Your leadership will coordinate Reception, Treatments, Grounds, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Night Porters to deliver exceptional service.

This is a hands‑on operational role requiring composure under pressure, strong decision‑making, and attention to detail. Clear communication and organization will be essential as you lead the team to create memorable guest experiences.
