Position Details

The Classroom Lead Teacher works with our 1 and 2 year olds providing meaningful learning opportunities through play. The teacher plans and implements activities, provides comfort and guidance to children, and builds strong relationships with families and staff.


Responsibilities:


Under the direct supervision of the Childcare Coordinator, the Classroom Lead Teacher will:

  • Work with an assigned group of children while applying best practices for their care and development, including planning and implementing activities using Creative Curriculum.

  • Support and nurture each child’s development of self-esteem, trust, and growing independence.

  • Provide active supervision of children at all times.

  • Provide guidance, and leadership to classroom support staff.

  • Complete developmental assessments and ongoing documentation of children’s progress using Teaching Strategies GO...
