Job Description

Brunswick House First Nation is seeking a strategic, experienced, and analytically strong Human Resource Manager to lead and strengthen the Nation’s human resource systems.

Reporting to Chief & Council and working closely with the Band Manager, the Human Resource Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining BHFN’s human resource policies, procedures, and standards. This role supports recruitment, retention, staff development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness across all departments.

  • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and standards
  • Contribute to the HR components of funding proposals
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies in relation to operational needs
