Bay Shore HVAC contractor is looking for a project estimator to join our team.
The project estimator works with our team throughout the bidding process into project start with a high level of quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Review drawings to assess the time, materials and labor required for each service or installation project.
- Identify and quantify all cost factors to create HVAC proposals.
- Travel to jobsites to gather information when needed, not often.
- Read blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimates.
- Prepare estimates on multiple projects concurrently.
- Utilize construction estimating software such as Bidtracer and Quote Soft to create detailed cost breakdowns.
- Maintain relationships with Vendors and clients.
Requirements:
- College degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Prior HVAC industry experience
