HVAC Mechanic Position Coquitlam SD43

Join School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) as an HVAC Mechanic I on the afternoon shift. This role is critical for maintaining HVAC systems to ensure a comfortable environment for students and staff.
In your role, you will report to the Manager of Maintenance and perform various HVAC tasks with minimal oversight. Your responsibilities will include repairing heating systems, conducting preventative maintenance, and managing HVAC supplies. Additionally, you will supervise uncertified tradesmen while utilizing your expertise in troubleshooting HVAC technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Service and install boilers and ventilation equipment
• Repair and calibrate thermostatic controls
• Ensure air balancing of heating and ventilating systems
• Conduct regular visual inspections and maintenance
• Read and interpret plans for HVAC systems
