Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hydraulic equipment and systems
- Test equipment for proper performance and compliance with regulations
- Understand documents related to Hydraulic Schematic P ID drawings
- Understand nitrogen kit and pre-charging of piston type accumulators
- Understand bladder type accumulators
- Conduct precise troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic components including pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in marine (dredging)/oil and gas industries as a hydraulic technician
- Diploma in mechanical, hydraulic engineering, or any related technical field
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Physically fit and willing to work onboard vessels or in shipyards
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
