Job Description
Responsibilities
- Carry out hydrographic and bathymetric surveys for offshore and nearshore projects.
- Support geotechnical investigation works including borehole positioning, CPT positioning, and seabed mapping.
- Operate survey systems including multibeam, single beam echo sounders, side scan sonar, DGPS/GNSS, and motion sensors.
- Perform vessel positioning and navigation support during marine operations.
- Process and analyze hydrographic survey data and prepare charts, contour maps, and reports.
- Conduct calibration, patch tests, and quality assurance checks for survey equipment.
- Monitor tidal data and apply corrections as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with geotechnical engineers, offshore crews, and project teams.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications, HSE policies, and international survey standards.
