The Role

S/he works with the external NA SSHE teams and internal site teams to develop and execute SSHE strategy and improvement plans. The focus is on reducing injuries, waste, emissions, energy use and CO2 while collaborating with Production, QA, ICMS, Logistics and Mix to meet plant targets in SSHE, QA, OEE, Volume and Waste.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain overall Safety, Security & Health Programs at the plant.
• Support Environment compliance programs as needed.
• Co‑chair the JHSC Management and liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., MOL) to meet occupational health and safety standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks that may lead to occupational ill health and execute the WSIB program.
