Job Description

Major/Essential Functions

  • Monitors APIC, OSHA, & Ector County Public Health Epidemiology websites for updates on employee health and infection control practices. Communicates education to Senior Director and managers as needed
  • Performs, coordinates and facilitates systems audits for campus administration, including clinical, operational, and academic functions with policy/procedure review and /or development to address deficiencies and improve quality, efficiency for delivery of services/processes
  • Supports and reviews Infectious Disease Exposure Policy in conjunction with the Section Manager and Director and the Infection Control Committee Chairman
  • Daily tracking of HAI's, reportable conditions, exposures, communicable diseases, and LARC compliance
  • Provides Infection Prevention education and develops infection prevention competencies.
