Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspects final product for defects and, if approved, moves it through the packaging machine.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Remove defective pieces from line and bring to repair station
- Log and report defects accordingly
- Send finished piece through the packaging machine
- Maintain cleanliness in work area
- Perform related duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of mattress construction and components (foam, coils, ticking, labels, foundations, etc.)
- Ability to identify cosmetic and functional defects
- Understanding of quality standards and acceptable tolerances
