Inspector - Civil ( Earthworks / Structures )

Responsibilities

• Inspect earthworks and structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor site activities related to excavation, backfilling, embankment works, subgrade preparation, compaction, foundations, reinforced concrete structures, retaining walls, culverts, and underground structures.
• Verify setting out, line, level, and coordinates before commencement of work.
• Inspect excavation dimensions, formation levels, and soil conditions.
• Ensure approved materials are used for fill, backfill, and structural works.
• Witness field density tests, compaction tests, and soil testing activities.
• Monitor placement and compaction of fill materials according to specifications.
• Inspect formwork, reinforcement, embedded items, and concrete works before casting.
