Instructor – ICT – Continuing Education Contract – COMP 172 – Introduction to Microsoft Word/Excel
Contract start date: 07/01/2026. Contract end date: 12/31/2026. Contract rate: $60 per hour. Total contract hours: 3 hours per enrolled student.
Job Duties
- Instruct the DE course for program based and unclassified students.
- Supervise students taking the COMP 172 course outline.
- Assist students with course content through email or phone contact.
- Schedule and mark assignments and exams.
- Maintain existing D2L content.
Qualifications
- Four-year degree or two-year diploma in Computer Science with related experience in programming and/or database management or post-secondary teaching experience.
- Familiarity with the content of the COMP 172 course. Preference for those who have taught the course in the past, either in a classroom setting or as an online facilitator.
