Job Description
The instrumentation engineer is responsible for the design, installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of instrumentation and control systems used in industrial processes. The role ensures reliable operation, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes. Prepare instrument datasheets, specifications, loop diagrams, and wiring drawings. Select and specify field instruments such as: Pressure transmitters Temperature sensors (RTDs, Thermocouples) Flow meters Level transmitters Control valves Perform calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments. Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues. Maintain and optimize PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems. Support plant shutdowns, maintenance activities, and project execution.
