Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with appropriate personnel, including Patient Relations, Nursing, and Physicians, to ensure all formalities agreed with insurance companies are followed, minimizing objections and clarifications delay.
- Monitor and follow up on prior e‑authorization for outpatient and inpatient services.
- Take approval for prescriptions from outpatient clinics and send approval and follow‑up for e‑claim prescriptions.
- Follow up for high‑cost approvals with insurance companies, physicians, and nursing team.
- Update and document all insurance approval requests appropriately.
- Communicate with patients, physicians, nursing, and pharmacy teams regarding the status of approvals in line with the process efficiently.
- Follow up on approvals for satellite clinics and provide appropriate feedback.
