Interior-Safety Engineer Experience: 5-10 yrs Job Location: Pune Scope of Role The Engineer is responsible for generating CATIA V5 Body Engineering CAD concepts/ solutions for ongoing and new projects for Safety and Restraints Area of Responsibility: This position is responsible for creation of CAD geometry and Drawings in support of various Safety and Restraints Responsible for the design and development of- Seat belts, Child Restraints, Knee Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Side airbag, Curtain Airbags, etc. Check Interior Head Impact and Ejection Mitigation and Human Machine Interface. Check process constrains (tool access, assembly steps) based on guidelines Create assembly models and skeleton using Catia V5/V6 Good knowledge of CAD Methodology and best practices for Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting & Kinematics.
