Job Description

BDO Canada is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the Financial Reporting & Insights.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare compilation engagements and corporate tax returns for clients in businesses and non‑profit entities.
  • Build effective working relationships with client contacts and respond promptly to client requests.
  • Prepare trust returns and trust working papers.
  • Prepare tax returns (T1s, T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST and charity returns).
  • Ensure all significant engagement matters are documented and reported to the Manager/Partner, keeping them informed of engagement progress.
  • Follow up with appropriate government agencies on payroll, assessments, GST, business numbers, etc.
