Intermediate Front End Developer – Shopify

We're looking for a Front End Developer to join the Shopify team at Blackpepper. You'll be working independently across client builds; from theme development through to custom app work, contributing strongly without needing to be guided through every step.

You'll have experienced developers around you and clear direction from delivery leads, but the expectation is that you can pick up work, run with it, and produce quality output with minimal hand-holding.

What you'll be doing

Developing custom Shopify apps and extensions where the theme layer isn’t enough

Working independently across multiple client projects simultaneously

Translating designs and requirements into clean, performant, production-ready code

Contributing to technical conversations and flagging issues early

Supporting junior developers where needed
