Job Description

Advance nuclear technology as an Intermediate Reactor Physicist in the Fuel and Physics department. Contribute to new designs and existing plant operations while utilizing key reactor physics codes.
We are looking for an Intermediate Reactor Physicist with a Master’s degree or higher to support the design of nuclear power plants and manage existing CANDU reactors. This role emphasizes technical analysis and programming, requiring expertise in reactor physics codes like WIMS, DRAGON, and MCNP. You will collaborate with senior staff to lead analyses that inform design and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform reactor core and kinetics calculations
• Run and prepare reactor physics computer codes
• Adapt FORTRAN codes for specific analyses
• Document and present analyses in technical reports
• Manage schedules and respond to project needs
