The purpose of the role is to conduct internal audits against the requirements outlined in AS9100, NADCAP, GE Aerospace, and governmental regulations here at GE Aerospace – Muskegon.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Conduct regularly scheduled internal audits of all functions within the company, including operators, engineers, and higher-level staff.
+ Manage the creation and completion of the audit schedule, with the assistance of the quality systems team, to ensure all requirements are met in a timely manner.
+ Document and report all completed audits for review of the Quality Systems Leader
+ Document any and all non-compliances or nonconformances found while auditing, both in an audit report, and in the Corrective Action Request system.
+ Assist in root cause and corrective action investigations, as needed.
