IT Data Engineer

For REWE digital Spain, a subsidiary of REWE Group, located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga, we are looking for an IT Data Engineer. This position is part of the Customer personalization team. REWE Group is one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe, with around 400,000 employees. The IT team, which includes more than 2,200 specialists, sets standards for IT implementation in retail and develops new technologies for the sector.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Support the development and operation of the recommendation engine.
• Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to analyze customer behavior.
• Generate personalized coupon recommendations for loyalty program customers.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to improve system performance and scalability.
