We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting ofPoint-of-Sale (POS) systems used at the Concession Stands during home Virginia Tech sporting events. This role isideal for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field who arelooking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
**Job Responsibilities**
? Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of POS hardware and software at concession stands.
? Provide first-level technical support to concession stand staff during events.
? Monitor POS systems during operations and respond quickly to hardware or software issues.
? Perform routine maintenance and updates on POS terminals, printers, and network connections.
