Job Description

IT Service Desk Engineer

Location: Zacatecas, MX (Onsite / Plant‑Based)

Vacancy Type: Existing Position – Full Time

On‑Call: Required (rotation)

Responsibilities

  • Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware, software, and network issues across the region.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records, configurations, and inventory in the CMDB.
  • Monitor system alerts and create incident tickets in a timely manner.
  • Manage and audit SharePoint access.
  • Utilize Service Desk tools to manage Problem Management and KPI reporting.
  • Perform root cause analysis to reduce recurring incidents.
  • Create and maintain patch management and backup completion reports.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT teams on infrastructure projects and system rollouts.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
