Job Description

Summary
: The Jig and Fixture Design Engineer will work closely with ‘Manufacturing Engineering’ and ‘Production’ to deliver Jigs and Fixtures that are robust and production ready in a time that is aligned to the main project deadlines.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Work with the Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Management team to ensure that the jigs, fixtures and stillages that have been designed are suitable and fit for purpose.

Ensure that the 3D Models and Drawings are suitable for Manufacture (Design for Manufacture)

Meticulous & accurate documentation skills for all documentation including engineering drawings, SOP’s and SSOW’s.

Work closely with the Design Department for New Trailer Jigs & Fixtures
