Job Description
Elevate your mining career with Redpath Canada as a Jumbo Bolter Operator in Sudbury, Ontario, specializing in underground drilling and scaling techniques. This role features a favorable rotation of 14 days on, 14 days off.
In this position, you will utilize your experience with Jumbo drilling to perform key operations that support safety and efficiency in hard rock environments. Your role will involve conducting thorough equipment checks, implementing ground control measures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute drilling and scaling operations for various mine structures
• Conduct prestart checks and inspections of equipment
• Assess and manage ground conditions effectively
• Maintain and report on work area cleanliness and safety
• Document activities and report findings to supervisors
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience with Jumbo drills in UG mining
