Junior Building Operator

Salary Range: $64,000.00 To $72,000.00 Annually

Peterson is seeking a Building Operator for one of our commercial properties located at 4664 Lougheed Highway, Burnaby. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Building Operator is responsible for providing on-site operations and maintenance services to the assigned building.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the building meets all applicable regulatory requirements on a cost-effective basis;
• Monitoring control systems, chemical treatments, controls, water and waste systems, boilers, compressors, fire systems, alarms and responding to alarms;
• Servicing minor repairs, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment;
• Obtaining quotes from contractors as directed by the Operations Manager and/or Property Manager, ensuring work orders are serviced and completed in a timely manner;
