Job Purpose

We are seeking a Junior Buyer to join our Aerospace and Defense division.

Responsibilities

• Purchase a variety of materials, supplies, and services under general direction.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning, and engineering departments to acquire inventory cost‑effectively and on time.
• Process purchase requisitions, change orders, and requests for quotes to suppliers.
• Monitor the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to ensure highest quality at best value.
• Recommend cost‑saving proposals, including make‑versus‑buy analysis or alternative sourcing.
• Interact closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor timely and quality‑compliant deliveries.
