Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Integrated Product Team – Engineering Group Leader (EGL)
• Design landing gear components and associated systems using CATIA V5 in support of senior designers
• Ensure design meets applicable specification requirements including CAR, FAR, and CS
• Create detail and assembly drawings of landing gear components
• Create and update documents using the Product Data Management system
• Participate in Concurrent Engineering with various company functions such as Stress, Dynamics, Systems, Quality, Product Support, Manufacturing, etc.
• Apply lessons learned to new designs and enforce a common design approach following harmonized company standards
