Software Development Engineer

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be involved in the development of the telescope operational software, engaging in all stages of the full software development life cycle. This includes:

Requirements analysis Architectural input Software design and development Testing, integration, and deployment Close interaction with hardware subsystems

You will also participate in deployment environments and processes, which may involve site visits to the Karoo, and in commissioning and lab integration of software and hardware.

Additional responsibilities include:

Participating in coding standard compliance and code reviews Following System Engineering principles for the development of software Producing documentation sets for the applicable subsystem as required Desired Experience & Qualification
