Junior Traffic & Transportation Planning Engineer -EIT

Job Description

Parsons Corporation has an immediate opening in our Burnaby, BC office for a Transportation Engineer to work with a progressive team on multi-modal planning studies and road, highway, and transit projects. You will perform conventional and moderately complex engineering assignments, applying traffic engineering fundamentals and planning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Be informed of trends and best practices in transportation and active transportation planning.
• Contribute transportation planning knowledge and leadership to the development of transportation related programs, plans and projects. Tasks may include contribution to feasibility studies, multiple account evaluations, business case development, transportation planning studies, and others.
• Contribute as a member of a team, identifying planning and project risks and opportunities based on analysis of data, trends, and issues.
