Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies/approaches that lead to fair, balanced decisions and change.
  • Leads in the audit on general labor standards and contractualization
  • Advises management on contracts, worker grievances, and disciplinary procedures
  • Submits DOLE reports as needed, e.g. Establishment Termination, etc.
  • Networks with DOLE, Labor Management Associations, Industry partners, etc. for benchmarking purposes and learning on current practices, new legislations affecting the labor sector and other emerging trends
  • Educates line managers and employees on Labor laws and Code of Conduct
  • Manages complex employee-employer issues
  • Updating of Code of Conduct and Discipline as needed
  • Regular conduct of business-oriented Partners Meeting (Labor Management Committee) with the Union Lead meetings between management and labor
