Quality Lab Technician ($17/hr) - Lubbock, TX Overview
Join one of the largest cotton seed operations in the world as a Quality Lab Technician. In this role, you’ll help ensure high-quality seed production by performing lab tests and inspections that support farmers across the U.S. and Mexico.
Estimated Start Date: August 24, 2026
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform visual quality inspections on seed samples
+ Conduct lab testing (pH, moisture, protein assays, titrations)
+ Complete germination testing (warm & cool)
+ Analyze seed purity and perform accurate seed counts
+ Collect and organize product samples
Requirements
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Natural Science, Chemistry, Biology or Science related field is a plus**
+ Experience in quality inspection, lab work, or agriculture preferred
+ Experience with seed testing, farm work, or manufacturing QC
