Job Description and Responsibilities

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for assessing, measuring and mapping land in order to determine boundaries and record the geometry of the land. The Surveyor will also be responsible for researching any legal, historic or other data which affects the land and will participate in the legal process. This position requires the use of complex tools, instruments and computer software to carry out survey duties. The Land Surveyor will also be responsible for supervising other survey staff and delegating work to them.
