Lead Buyer

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the purchasing of our raw materials, fruits and vegetables;
• For that you are in close contact with the growers, expanding and maintaining this relationship on a day to day basis;
• You formulate and present procurement strategies, buying opportunities & directions in line with the procurement objectives;
• You provide market insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments such as prices of raw materials, market conditions, harvest developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses of both results and (buying) process indicators;
• You coordinate, execute, maintain and/or improve procurement administrative processes and systems.

Qualifications

A Bachelor degree in food technology, agriculture or economics and/or 4- 6 years commercial experience in B2B in the food industry, preferably in the fruit and vegetables. You have good technic...
