Join Aecon Civil as a Safety Lead to champion workplace safety in construction projects. Work closely with teams to ensure adherence to EHS programs and protocols.
In this leadership role, you will report to the EHS Director and implement comprehensive safety plans across projects. Your experience in construction safety management and ability to foster an inclusive culture will enhance safety practices, ensuring compliance with all operational standards.
Key Responsibilities: • Promote EHS standards and safety culture • Conduct safety training and orientations • Facilitate audits and site inspections • Manage the development of emergency and safety plans • Track and report safety-related statistics
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in H&S related field • NCSO or equivalent certification mandatory • At least 5 years of relevant safety experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Must pass background checks and provide security clearance
