Lead Software Engineer (£750 Inside IR35, Hybrid - London)
A major UK bank requires a Lead Software Engineer to support a major transformation project to rebuild the payment system, replacing their existing enterprise solution. The new product will support a broad range of payment methods and channels across both in‑person and digital environments.
Key Requirements:
- Specific domain expertise in payment gateway systems
- Full Stack – Kotlin (willingness to transition) and React.js
- Solution architecture and design capabilities
- Ability to translate high‑level requirements into structured backlogs
- Team leadership experience
- Up to £750 per day, Inside IR35
- 3 days onsite per week (London)
- Initial term 6 months (subject to extension)
