Phoenix is a multi-cultural 11-19 secondary school, serving 1759 students in the north of West Bromwich close to the border with Walsall in the West Midlands. Opened in September 2010, as a result of the merger of two local schools, Phoenix has established itself as one of the highest performing schools in the area, an accolade achieved through commitment to continually improving the quality of teaching and learning and the provision of an exciting and dynamic learning experience for students.
Our students continue to achieve strong outcomes, with our last progress measure at +0.17 for the 2024 cohort, underpinned by the school's sustained focus on curriculum development and high-quality teaching.
