Purpose of the Role

The Teaching Assistant and Bus Attendant at Smart Vision School plays an important role in supporting students’ learning, wellbeing, and safety throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Support

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities.
• Provide individual or small‑group support to students who need additional help with learning.
• Support students of determination, ELL learners, and students with diverse learning needs.
• Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
• Supervise students during class activities, break times, and school events when required.
