Legal Counsel

A leading Retail group are looking for a Legal Counsel to be based in their offices in Dubai.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the main duties will be:
To provide advice on legal aspects of all Company’s activities and draw up legal documents of the Company upon the direction of Senior Legal Counsel.

Major Responsibilities/Duties: (Both Arabic and English)

1. Provide legal advice on all legal issues and review documents referred by the Senior Legal Counsel.
2. Review and draft policies and regulations to ensure consistency with applicable law.
3. Perform other similar or related duties such as interpreting laws, keeping abreast of legislation and follow up legal suits and arbitration to which the Company is a party.
4. Draft, review and negotiate all contractual arrangements, including those with contractors, customers, consultants, suppliers, lessors, shippers, etc.
