Step into the role of Legal Counsel at Dentons, supporting critical privacy functions in a temporary hybrid position. This opportunity focuses on guiding compliance from July 2026 to October 2027.
Become part of the national legal team to enhance the firm's privacy framework. You will work closely with business services to analyze contracts and provide expert legal insights on compliance and risk mitigation. This role emphasizes independence along with collaborative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing the enterprise privacy program
• Negotiate and review commercial agreements thoroughly
• Provide legal counsel on various professional obligations
• Engage with leadership on innovative legal technology
• Draft and implement policies related to data governance
Requirements:
• Licensed lawyer with 4+ years of experience in practice
• In-depth knowledge of privacy laws and regulations
• Relevant certifications, such as CIPP/C, are preferable
