Librarian

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Fujairah. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the library’s collections, as well as providing research assistance to patrons. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and knowledge of library cataloging systems.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the library’s collections
• Provide research assistance to patrons
• Apply library cataloging standards and systems

Qualifications

• Degree in Library Science or related field
• At least two years of experience in a library setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate and strong customer service
• Knowledge of library cataloging systems
• Fluency in English; Arabic knowledge preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
