JOB SCOPE OF LICENSE PROCESSING OFFICER

To process new and renewal applications for licenses for any of the licensing regimes regulated by the Authority in compliance within the service turnaround key performance indicators as defined by the Authority (See Annex A).

To screen applicants and business entities for new and renewal applications to assess whether they meet the fit and proper criteria for license grant by conducting verification and screening of applicants (persons, business entities) according to the standard operating procedures prescribed by Authority;

To process employee approval requests by licensees and operators (eg for Massage Establishments, Debt Collection agencies).

To liaise with other ministries to collate scores for pilot trials.

To track infringements by licensees and record the outcomes of Police’s action taken against the infringements.
