Job Description

Summary

Employees responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation and functional testing of all types of radio, radar, cabin management and other navigation systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and install interconnecting wiring between major units, remote controls and indicating devices, and be able to interpret technical drawings.
  • Be familiar with standard avionic installations, practices, materials and manuals related to avionic systems and installations.
  • Assist in removing and reinstalling interior furnishings and perform minor interior repairs on the aircraft as required by their expertise.
  • Licensed avionics technicians may be required to certify avionic installations using company‑issued ACA where applicable.
