Nestled 58kms southwest of Calgary in beautiful Diamond Valley, Alberta, the vibrant Oilfields General Hospital offers an excellent rural nursing opportunity in a unique and diverse Alberta Health Services care facility. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Acute Care works in a Patient Family Centered Care environment that focuses on meeting the comprehensive and complex care needs of the patients and their families in a home like setting. Along with working on the 15-bed medical unit the LPN will be working in the Emergency Department. The LPN will work collaboratively with a variety of disciplines including RNs, Health Care Aides, Rehabilitation Staff, Recreation Therapy, Pharmacy and the Physicians group with the purpose of promoting, maintaining or restoring health.
