An opportunity to join an experienced, versatile team, delivering a first-class Lifeguard service to our world class Armed Forces personnel and associated civilian staff and families.

Position Overview

Based at BRNC Dartmouth, the post holder will deliver confident and competent lifeguarding around the Swimming Pool in the Sports and Recreation Centre.

Main Responsibilities
Complying with the Normal Pool Operating Procedures, ensure the safety and good conduct of all swimming pool users.

Lead in emergency situations.

Monitor usage of the Pool.

Ensure equipment is efficiently utilised and the pool area, including changing rooms are maintained to a high hygienic standard.

Maintain an acceptable level of fitness and competency to be able to recover an adult from the pool.
