Job Summary Assisting in the delivery of capital and Revenue projects to manage and maintain the transport network in a safe and suitable condition. The post will be based within the Roads Network Operations Team based at Broomhill depot Kirkintilloch and works on a hybrid office/ homework level, subject to the demands of the service. The Council’s Roads Neighbourhood Services is looking to recruit a street lighting Electrical Technician, to undertake a range of inspection and maintenance duties as well as to assist the Senior Technician in providing the Council and other stakeholders/Client Departments with a professional service ensuring best value is delivered at all times. The postholder is required to take specific responsibility for delivering allocated projects and maintenance/compliance programmes in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
