Role: Linux Administrator - VMware Specialist
JD: Key Responsibilities Install configure and administer Unix Linux servers primarily RHEL in production and nonproduction environments Manage and support VMware vSphere infrastructure including ESXi hosts vCenter Server clusters resource pools and virtual networking Perform system monitoring performance tuning and capacity planning for Unix Linux and VMware platforms Implement and maintain security hardening patching and compliance standards CIS STIG internal controls Troubleshoot complex hardware OS virtualization networking and storage issues including application to database connectivity problems Manage file systems storage allocations disk partitioning LVM configurations volume expansions and mountpoint restructuring Automate operational tasks using Bash Python Perl or configuration management tools Ansible preferred Maintain and improve backup snapshot and disaster recovery strategies for Unix and VMware environments Partner with ...
