As a Linux SysAd L2 – Senior , you will provide advanced Linux system administration, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of the Managed Private Cloud and legacy systems. You will play a key role in maintaining enterprise server environments, mentoring junior administrators, and driving process improvements.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed
- Install, configure, and update Linux operating systems to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Manage users, groups, and file permissions, applying best practices for root access and security.
- Monitor system performance, tune parameters, and apply patches to maintain availability.
- Handle backups, troubleshooting, and system maintenance tasks, performing root‑cause analysis to minimise downtime.
